Love is...a steak.
This week in class, we have been learning to put our conversational skills and expanded vocabulary into written form. I've chosen a relaxed and comfortable method that encourages "free talking" because, hey! Who doesn't love food! We all do, as evident in the article (as shown above) that we've studied this week.
First up is M, who has chosen to share with us the recipe for her mother's scrumptious Induction Grilled Beef. She concludes with a favourite foodie memory. Thank you for sharing with us, M!
Ingredients: 200 grams of tenderloin steak 2 tablespoons of olive oil 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1 tbsp. chopped parsley 1 tbsp. chopped rosemary, 2 tbsp. butter This tastes even better when you add the following to the pan with the meat. 10 cherry tomatoes 1/2 medium eggplant, diced
Equipment List: induction frying pan knife chopping board chopsticks spoons for measuring
Directions: Marinate the beef in olive oil, salt and pepper. Add the rosemary and parsley leaves. Let the marinated ingredients stand for 30 minutes, covered with plastic wrap. Spread the butter in a frying pan. When the pan is heated, add the meat, discard the marinade.
My favourite foods are Korean dishes. My mother is good at cooking. It is more delicious to eat at home. Now I'm on a keto diet so I can't eat such delicious food. I have to eat steak every day. With butter. When I went on a trip to Pusan, one of the cities in Korea near the ocean, there were many beaches, hotels and resorts. It was well known as a tourist spot for foreigners. They have many kinds of seafood, fresh fish and sushi with seaweed. They also served sashimi covered with red rice and covered in Kim (seaweed). This dish came with red pepper sauce. It was very delicious; a unique dish, even in Korea.
